Troubleshooting for Token Swapping

Here are some common issues that may impact your ability to bridge your Layer 2 token (USDC or ETH) for STABLE. 

Unsupported tokens:

• STABLE can only be swapped with Layer 2 ETH or USDC. An attempt to swap for any other token will fail.

Insufficient funds and amounts: 

• Ensure you have enough Layer 2 ETH (or USDC) in your wallet to cover gas fees.
• Ensure the amount of token you are swapping is above the minimum requirement.

Token approval not completed:

• Before swapping, you need to approve and “sign” the transaction in your wallet. If the approval is pending or not completed, the swap cannot proceed.

Network mismatch: 

• Ensure you’ve connected your Base-compatible wallet to the Base network. 

Bridged tokens not recognized:

• Confirm that the bridging process is complete (not pending) and you’re using the correct token version (e.g., Layer 2 USDC vs. Layer 1 USDC).

Wallet syncing issues:

• Refresh your browser, clear your cache or try reconnecting your wallet if your balances are displayed incorrectly.
